China BAK Battery Delays 10K Filing with SEC

China BAK Battery, a manufacturer of lithium ion rechargeable batteries, has notified the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it will file its 10K report late.

The company said it has not yet finalized its financial statements for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2016, but expects to file it within the 15-day grace period provided by SEC. It also said that it did not anticipate any significant change in results of operations. Shares of China BAK Battery are up 8% to $1.35 in Thursday afternoon trading.
